Since 1994, Libby Bortz Assisted Living has provided 24-hour care for the seniors of Littleton. The three-story building features 111 private apartments with meal service, activities, a hair salon, and more. The beautiful property is conveniently located in Downtown Littleton, offering all the comforts of home and the peace of mind to go with it.

Compared to the average cost of assisted living in the Denver Metro area, Libby Bortz Assisted Living offers reasonable rates with high quality services at a fraction of the price. Through a unique tax credit program called Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) the basic rent and services package for assisted living starts at $2,590 per month for an individual.

We offer a basic independent level of care in an a la carte style that caters to the individualized needs of our residents. They receive the privacy of their own apartment with the benefits of living in an engaging and vibrant environment. Residents are encouraged to enjoy the common areas and the many organized social and recreation activities that occur daily. This care level pricing starts at $2,590 per month.

Expanded Care - when you need a little more

We offer an additional Expanded Care Service for residents who need more help with day-to-day activities. The Expanded Care level is an additional cost. Services include dressing assistance, personal hygiene care (daily grooming), incontinence care management, medication management, bathing assistance, escort to and from meals and activities and other care services. Residents at this level of care live in newly renovated apartments located on first floor west wing, which is conveniently located close to the dining room and activities.

The Expanded Care service pricing starts at $4,095/month (private studio apartment) OR $4,495/month (one-person suite) and includes:

  • Medication management up to a maximum of 15 medications per day

  • Assistance with dressing, bathing, and incontinence

  • Staff management of medical supplies and/or equipment, oxygen, and oversight of external service providers

  • Assistance with scheduling appointments to doctor, dentist, or other specialists

  • Escorts to daily meals, activities, and outings

  • Standby assistance for transfers

  • Guidance and re-direction for individuals with memory impairment

Expanded Care Now Includes

  • Additional assistance with managing oxygen (filling portable tanks, reminders to wear oxygen, and safe storage)

  • Additional assistance with dressing grooming, personal hygiene, bathing, and incontinence

  • Escorts to meals, activities, and outings using a walker or wheelchair pushed by staff

  • Assistance with meals (cutting up foods)

  • Supervision and monitoring for safety

  • Daily routine vitals sign monitoring (as ordered by physician)

  • Weekly or monthly weight monitoring (as ordered by physician

  • Monthly Pulse Oximetry (as ordered by physician)

  • Housekeeping and laundry service up to 3 to 7 days a week
