Libby Bortz, a local community member, Littleton resident, and social worker recognized the needs of modest-income adults over the age of 62 to have a reasonable assisted living option. In appreciation of her many years of service and volunteering to the Littleton Housing Authority and the community, Libby Bortz Assisted Living was named in her honor.

Libby Bortz Assisted Living now offers Level 1 and Level 2 Expanded Care and Services to residents that need extra assistance. To serve our expanded care and services residents we have renovated apartments located on first floor west wing to support wheelchairs. The expanded care and services are for private pay only. The apartments at Libby Bortz Assisted Living are all private, unfurnished studios which include carpet and window coverings. The apartments have private bathrooms with step-in showers. Throughout the property are beautifully decorated common areas with pleasant sitting areas including a theater room. Residents are encouraged to socialize and enjoy the common areas and take advantage of the many organized social and recreation activities that occur daily under the direction of the full-time activities director.
