Libby Bortz Assisted Living opened in 1994 and today is a well-known affordable assisted living community serving the Denver metro area. We are located the in historic downtown Littleton area. Our residents and their families can enjoy many of the wonderful events, fine and casual dining and shopping experiences in the area.

- Tuesday, October 2nd – “Baking with Mandy”
We will be making homemade Twice Baked Potatoes per our resident request. Meet at 2:30 p.m. in the Activities Room.
Tuesday, October 9th – “Birthday Party with “Dean” Come and enjoys some cake and ice cream and celebrate residents October birthdays at 2:30 p.m. in the main dining room.
- Thursday, October 11th – “Ladies Lunch”
We will be serving Pizza & Beer. Ladies if you would like to join us on the 3rd floor at 12:00 p.m. Please sign up at the front desk. Space is limited.
- Monday, October 15th – “Book Club” Are you interested in being a part of a book club? Come and join us on the 3rd floor at 2:00 p.m. and look over all the books that we can offer.
- Wednesday, October 17th –“Doughnut and Cider Social”. Come and enjoy some yummy doughnuts and cider on the 3rd floor at 10:00 a.m.
- Wednesday, October 19th – “Omnibus Outing” we will be going to the Romano’s Pizzeria for lunch. If you are interested in joining us for lunch please sign up at the front desk. Bus will pick up at 11:00 a.m. and we will meet in the lobby.
- Thursday, October 25th – “Arts with Mandy” Come and join us in the Activities Room at 2:30 p.m. We will be decorating pumpkins.

Libby Bortz Assisted Living Expanded Care & Services
Libby Bortz Assisted Living now offers expanded care and services packages to residents that need extra assistance. To serve our expanded care and services residents we have newly renovated apartments located on first floor west wing. This location is convenient to dining and activities for those who need extra assistance. Our enhanced care and services are at an additional cost. The expanded care and services include dressing assistance, personal hygiene care (daily grooming), incontinence care management, medication management, bathing assistance, escort to and from meals and activities and other care services.
The two levels available are Level I Rent & Service Package and Level II Rent & Service Package. These services are offered at private pay only. Contact Marcy, Emma or Jan at 303-347-9755 to be included in our mailing list.

Arapahoe County Council on Aging Monthly Meeting
Location: Caley Ridge Assisted Living

Arapahoe County Council on Aging (ACCOA) is the official spokesman for the aging population in Arapahoe County. Everyone is welcome to attend the ACCOA meetings. They are open to the public, professionals, retirees, all ages. Light refreshments are served. People attending ACCOA meetings at the Caley Assisted Living facility are not to park in the Vet’s paved parking lot and are to use either the Caley Ridge parking lot, the graveled/rocked vet parking lot, or the parking lot next door at Boston Commons as long as it is NOT the covered parking.

The Craft Fair has been scheduled for Saturday, Nov 3rd from 10 am – 2 pm in the Lobby. We have residents and staff with lovely homemade items, great for holiday gifts or a treat for you. Items purchased will be charged to resident account. Hope to see you and family members!

Candlelight Walk Downtown Littleton
Santa Claus and his sleigh will start down Main Street at 6:30PM magically illuminating more than one million lights in the trees as he passes each block. When he reaches the end of Main Street, Santa throws the switch on the big Christmas Tree in the plaza. After that, he will make his way to Town Hall Arts Center for photos and to listen to the first wishes of the season. Main Street closes to vehicle traffic at 4PM on this day. The live reindeer are sponsored by Bradford Auto Body and Western Welcome Week.
