When March comes along it is time for a touch of Irish!
On March 16th, the Wick School of Irish Dance will join us in celebrating St. Patrick’s Day on Friday, March 16th. The group will be performing at 2:00 p.m. in the Main Dining Room. Put on your green and your shamrocks too. Hope to see you there.

Staff is currently looking for email addresses to utilize in distribution of the monthly newsletter and other information requested of family contacts. We hope family members will be receptive with the request of receiving information via email and helping to lower the yearly postal expenses. Those of you willing to participate in this adventure, please submit an email with your name and family member name.
- Time to Stretch
Come enjoy and socialize as you participate in chair based stretch movements designed by physical therapists. Class is taught by staff on Wednesdays & Fridays at 10 am on the 3rd floor. Join the fun of chatting, laughing and exercising all at the same time
- St. Patrick’s Day
The person who was to become St. Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland, was born in Wales about AD385. His given name was Maewyn, and he almost didn’t get the job of bishop of Ireland because he lacked the required scholarship. Read more about the history of St. Patrick’s Day in our newsletter.
- Libby Bortz Assisted Living is pleased to announce that Expanded Care & Services are coming soon.
Some of the new services include options of enhanced care and services at an additional cost. The expanded services and care include dressing assistance, personal hygiene care (daily grooming), incontinence care management, medication management, bathing assistance, and escort to and from meals and activities. As part of these expanded care and services, Libby Bortz Assisted Living will have newly renovated apartments in a designated area on the first floor – convenient to dining and activities.
